A warm welcoming hotel ideally placed.

We stayed in a sea view apartment for 4 people overlooking the Promenades des Anglais and the beach. We had everything we could have possibly wanted for our stay. When we arrived the gentleman on reception was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautifully clean and the bedroom being separated from the balcony by the lounge was really quiet and comfortable. The Kitchen had everything including dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, all appliances needed and loads of crockery and cooking utensils. We had an excellent four night stay and to top it all off the breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and constantly restocked by a lovely helpful young lady. Again, she was super helpful and very cheerful. We found getting to the hotel from the airport really easy. The Nice tram stops just behind the hotel, ultra modern, cheap and easy to use. We also used the train to go to Antibes for the day, only a 20 minute journey and a very nice day out. We have stayed in much more expensive places but the Adagio was better than many. We would have no hesitation revisiting. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for helping us to have a good holiday.

Good view and big room

Great view, good sized room, good location but opposite end of town to sights and shops (45 minute walk along the sea front or £10 Uber) Rooftop terrace was disappointing and nothing like the photos. Air conditioning didn’t work unfortunately. Blackout blind was great for a good nights sleep.

We stayed at Aparthotel Adagio, Nice for four nights in March 2024. The hotel is in a great location overlooking the beach area with the No12 bus stop right outside and the Fabron tram stop 2mins walk away. The hotel is listed as 4 star but feels more 3 star. The apartments are clean and definitely roomy, with a large living/kitchen area leading onto a balcony with sea view, bedroom, bathroom with separate toilet but it feels very tired and in need of some updating. Cracked/loose tiles in the bathroom, loose light switches, broken floor tiles on the balcony, kitchen wall trim taped in place made the apartment feel a bit shabby. The air conditioning was ineffective, which wasn’t too much of a problem in the living area (we left balcony patio door open) but left the bedroom uncomfortably hot during the night; the beds have a paper/plastic hygiene cover on the mattresses, which added to the problem. Whilst the hotel itself was pretty quiet, the Promenade de Anglais is the main road in and out of Nice, which meant there was traffic noise virtually all through the night, a bit of a problem when you need to leave the doors open because of the heat! The staff on reception were friendly and helpful, especially Jerome, who gave us great advice on getting around and places to see etc. In summary, we enjoyed our stay but don’t think I’d choose Adagio again.

Conveniently situated midway between airport and city 200 metres from tram stop the studio was comfortable and spacious except for the loo and had everything youbneed to cook. Pity the safe in the studio and laptop in the foyer did not work.
